When we thought about what we wanted in a cup hilt we looked at everything else that was on the market. The biggest complaint I have and have heard is the lack of coverage most hilts currently provide, specifically for the back of the hand and the fingertips. We wanted a cup hilt that would cover these areas well and still fit the hand well. We also wanted to ensure that we would be able to allow for complete rotation of the wrist. What we offer are all of those things!!
Our hilts are a three piece design with welded dual lobes for the cup itself and a rolled edge on the collar. On both models the collar is spot welded prior to setting the rivets and the rivet holes are countersunk to provide a superior bond. On all models the tangs are super strong (12ga 404 grade Stainless steel) and are of a "T" design which provides far superior strength compared to the old straight tab design that you keep shearing off. Everyone else that we've looked at cuts corners and uses a thinner gauge material for the collar. Our collars are the same thickness, and strength, as the cup itself. These hilts have exceptional balance, look great, and are super tough. The design of them also helps blows skim off of them when hit. We offer two options in both 6061 T6 Aircraft Aluminum and 404 grade Stainless Steel. There is a video showing an actual hilt for reference.

Stainless Steel cup hilt (1.5 mm thickness) Our hilts are 404 grade stainless steel (tangs and cup) constructed with 404 grade rivets and spot welded at the top and bottom of both lobs to reduce the stress on the rivets which is what causes most hilt rivets to work themselves loose in time as they wallow out the holes.
